I am head of construction for a major builder so I have seen quality all over the board in my career and my Fiancé has worked in construction for years in warranty and doing closing walks. After walking Patterson’s finished homes my fiancé and I were very confident in choosing them to build our dream home because the finish work was top notch. We only lived a few blocks from the home so we stopped by almost every day to see the progress. Jordan Telaroli was our sales agent and he was on top of sending our questions and concerns to the site superintendent if we had any construction related questions or fixes that needed to be taken care of. Jordan also helped with any questions that were not defined by our design center paperwork. We just completed our new home build and moved in. Let me just say, more than a 5 star experience! I will be extremely fair and transparent in this review. We started the process over a year ago. Leaving our previous home of almost 20-years, we had a specific home already mapped out in our minds. We knew exactly what we wanted. Were we able to get that vision onto paper with Patterson? 100% yes! Patterson was amazing at working to get you exactly what you want! They really do want to say YES to what you want to build. I have been a mortgage lender for 20-years so I see the good, bad, and ugly with the building process. And most are on the latter end of the experience. So when my wife said we were building a new home, I was less than excited. I also didn't think we would fully get through the process. I thought at some point we'd hit that crossroad, put a pin in this one, and move right along with life. But since I'm writing this review, that didn't happen! WIFE WINS AGAIN! We first met with Brennan. I think on that first visit, my wife met with Brennan, I was on the couch in the model home doing some work. That's how engaged I was on the front end... He deserves my first shout out. Brennan is a rock star and I hope Patterson understand what they've got here. About the most positive person you'll meet. Even in that rare occasion where he needed to deliver less than ideal news, always positive and you knew he'd fight tooth and nail for you. Never afraid to pick up a call or to call you. Always got back to us immediately! His communication was top notch. Jaris and Clint deserve a strong shout out as well. These two really want to build you a quality home and get you exactly what you asked for. Jaris is a straight shooter, no nonsense guy. But when he talks, you'd better listen. Because he's telling you what you need to hear (whether you like it or not). Spending this amount of money, this is exactly what you want in the person responsible for the outcome. He's saying it because he wants you to be happy in the end. Sometimes you won't feel that this is the reason, but that is exactly the reason. Clint is quiet and behind the scenes but the dude is a work horse. You'll see him all of the time but you won't hear a peep. Just really knew we were in great hands with both of them. Great conductors to the orchestra of building a home. A ton of moving pieces to orchestrate. And I'd say, you'd be hard pressed to find better. One more shout out to Matt. Interictal in the beginning stages. Also, when we were almost completed with the build, we had a small issue with cabinets but Matt went to bat for us and make it right and got it exactly right. And probably at the financial expense of Patterson. Thank you Matt! We really appreciated this. On the transparency side of things, the design center piece is still a work in progress. Brennan was fully transparent about this on the front end. They moved from one entity and tried to hire within to make that piece better, but that wasn't really a fit either. Not that it negatively affected anything too much, but that is a piece they are still working through. Just know this going in. Also, the home audio side of things had some challenges. They subcontract it out and that too is a new relationship so we had to work though some of the bugs through that process. Again, not a biggie. We got through it fine. When you build a new home, you have to expect some of this. There are a ton of moving pieces and a lot of coordination and orchestration. Sometimes there are challenges there. BUT, with that said, Patterson has this pretty much down to a science, and when things need to be addressed, they are right on it and on top of it. You can really tell they want to build you a beautiful home! And for us, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Dallin and James were very helpful and gave some recommendations on upgrades that make a huge difference! The 2 stage furnace and ac unit was 100% worth it makes a world of difference. Me and my wife have just been loving our home! No issues since we've moved in! When we did our final walk through Jaris answered all of our questions even put plugs in where we would have our pendants above the kitchen counter so there wasn't a hole in the ceiling. (we couldn't decide what we wanted). We felt very well taken care of! As a first time home buyer they made it very easy and non stressful as possible. They worked with me every step of the way even with my crazy work schedule. Very considerate and kind I would recommend them to anyone who is wanting to build a house.
