What type of sunroom is right for me? There are many beautiful styles to choose from. Some of your choices will be limited to your home's existing style of construction. Florida's heavy rains are another consideration. As a result, a room with a glass ceiling is going to be more susceptible to leaks. In some parts of the world, and even our country, conservatories are very popular to help draw in the precious sun for the extra warmth and sunshine. Florida's all ready warm weather makes these types of rooms mostly impractical. Most all of the sunrooms installed in our region are a more traditional looking room with an insulated ceiling but with more windows than a regular room. Back to Top
What steps are taken prior to installation? We make sure things run smoothly by reviewing lot layout, locations of outbuildings, garage, pools, etc. We'll identify all rooms that will be enclosed, determine if subdivision association approval is needed (and seek approval), determine foundations - footing or piers as required by the city, locate overhead and underground utilities, calculate size of sunroom based on setbacks and overall allowable lot coverage. We submit all paperwork for permits and secure the same. Back to Top
